Well I just moved to outskirts of Canon City (almost 90% RED), can get to Colorado Springs in 30Min and can get to my corporate office in Centennial in an hour 15 where I spend 2 days a week at the office.
It is GLORIOUS! So absolutely delirious to be out of Washington DC.
Beyond that up near Denver, do not go to Saudi Aurora. If you can deal with a little bit of a drive try Monument or Castle Rock. Might try up in the mountains near Evergreen as well

Denver. Colorado in general.
It's a horrible -HORRIBLE- state. Ever since they legalized weed it's been a shithole.
You'd be wise to avoid the Downtown area completely as it's normally overrun with homeless.
If you had any brains in your head, you'd see if your company will let you be remote and stay where you are.

Stay away from Green Valley Ranch, Colfax, Federal around Lakewood, Aurora, ... hell, most of downtown right now.
