This just occurred to me when I tried to schedule an appointment with my ear doc today and was told it was “nonessential” by the Kaiser website.
I find the idea ridiculous because to me being able to hear clearly is essential.

nonessential...you mean like getting a potentially deadly vaccine for a virus that i already have a 99.98% chance of surviving?
Will your insurance reimburse you for medical bills for treatment outside your network/ state?
It may be you need to travel to a Red State to get your treatment and then file for reimbursement.
