In many ways they avoid the Massive Taxation that 'citizens' pay... no SS no income tax no unemployment tax no property tax no other random city taxes
they pay sales and gas taxes.... and keep everything else.
It is like a $10-20,000 bonus every year - for NOT BEING A CITIZEN - while working a day job.
