I think you missed the /s

But, with that said, hard drugs are not good for our homeless. Porn is not good for our youth. Guns are good against tryanny, but here you're putting them all together as if one ban is justified while the others are not. Or...youre libertarian and believe everything should be legal, as long as it doesnt lead to violence?

I am libertarian. But I think that many libertarians miss some points. Some say that we should just have open boarders (mostly because their is no incentive other than working hard to make your own way), however people surrounding the country will try and take over and set up their own government. To not just straw-man here. Some other points can be made. Such as all drugs should be legal. Some people will just say that librarians want to smoke weed. I think about drugs that people really need to live. And that the outlawing of illegal drugs keeps drug cartels in business. Some people do take drugs just to get high, but I think that the majority of users do it because of other social-economic reasons (ie, lack of work and a stable home). Returning back to the porn argument, what can be done to have people have more stable and meaningful relationship? Everyone seems to have dug their foot in the ground about many of the issues. I think we should start with a clean slate and look at the issues in a way that does not control peoples lives.

I used to be libertarian, but I believe that we need a state to function as a cohesive society to a degree. With that said, yes, I dont agree with the "legalize everything" crowd, although they have some good points here and there. I think society is better when we aim to raise people up and give everyone an equal opportunity at life. Vices dont do that, and if anything they hold people back from realizing their full potential. And the effect is especially severe when the person is influenced by vice below the age of 20.

For example, 24.1% to 29% of online porn is sex trafficking victims, and thats not something we're talking about. Drug cartels operate in the california mountains just like they do in Mexico, growing marijuana that is already legal in California, but growing illegally grown marijuana that introduces harmful pesticides to the ecosystem, so legalizing and regulating does not always remove the black market money, arms, and illegal activities that come with legalization.

Theres definitely a lot of complex parts to these issues, and right now the lack of regulation is hurting more than its benefitting.
