Refund all the education dollars paid by taxpayers, then, let those taxpayers teach those teachers a lesson about unemployment.....refunds on demand!!!....

Okay, you know what? You don't want to go to work? That's fine. Pick up the boxes of your shit at the check in front counter. You're fired. All of them. Every. Single. One.

If the schools are going to stay closed anyway, fire all of them. ALL OF THEM. Including the unions. Then, during the downtime, you say "Hey, if you were a teacher in good standing, feel free to apply for your old job. However, Unions are no longer going to be negotiated. You want to work for the schools? Then work for them. Don't work for the unions. We're looking to fill all vacancies within 3 weeks. I'm sure substitute teachers would jump at it. Starting pay is 45k."

They'd be sending a VERY clear message that they're not playing around and they'd be saving money by not having to pay a union and could use that money paying their teachers more.
