True, I am aware of a family where the mom died when two daughters were about 8, 9 and the dad was a total wreck and these two kids started running with high school kids. To keep the attention of the older kids they had to be wilder and more daring than the older girls, so one thing led to another.
Both did eventually straighten up their acts, one much faster than the other.
