I grew up in a Ford household, my dad was a welder for them. I haven’t bought a Ford in 20 years.
My mother and father in law, and my wife’s uncle all worked at that plant too. My wife’s cousin is an engineer for GM near Warren. It really is a huge part of the economy there.
My Aunt also worked for Ford and my other aunt worked for Chrysler. I could get a good discount on just about any car, but now I own all Hondas. I have no allegiance for poor products.

The only thing worse than that is...GM. My grandpa was a welder in the Fisher Body plant in Flint.
