There is nothing wrong with talking about race in a pragmatic way. Race is real and there are differences between them. We live in a fallen world.
Romans 10:12 is talking about how we are all one in Christ Jesus. Obviously we are different in the flesh. Women are not the same as men, a man is not the same as his son, his son is not the same as his daughter, the old is not the same as the young, the smart is not the same as the dumb. There are differences between us, and we must acknowledge that. There is nothing un-Christian about it. If you are Catholic even the Catechism speaks of this.
It's natural to have an in-group preference with your own people. If you want proof just look at the lunchtables in highschool...
How is race real other than amount of melanin and other insignificant "differences"
