In one thought process, TX should be happy about the pipeline closing since it means more TX oil going places.
On the other hand, it's the principal of this that TX wants to stand for.
This hurts Texas since Texas refines the oil from Alberta where they in turn either use it, or sell it to others companies. They're buying crude oil where they refine it to resell it.
