The Boomers were the first generation to have their parents stolen away by TV. Talmudvision quite effectively destroyed the social fabric. The internet is reforming the fabric in totally new ways.

When I was a kid, I thought the "TV destroyed the world" people were crazy. It took me a while to realize that, while TV never could have destroyed the world if everyone realized it was all fake, most people are fucking morons, which allowed TV to destroy the world, so those people were right all along. /sigh
