I do not want our ideas - even if we share them despite difference of religion or lack thereof - to be characterized by our enemies to be the toothless rhetoric of the religious. These people make fun of the religious as if they are disabled. They reduce it to the ideas of the superstitious or crazy and equate them to be the same thing. Do not give them the opportunity.
Hmm, I understand your perspective, it certainly has validity and merit. The Neo-Marxists do tend to disrespect religion and try to embrace their version of "science". I did not see it that way. I think there is utility, and humility to embracing your religion in a private setting. I will reflect on this brother.
