We just moved to SC last year and we are in our early 30s.
My girlfriend met a group of people (most of them are teachers and all Biden supporters and Democrats). I met them a few times but they never talked about politics.
But tonight my girlfriend went out with them and I wasn't able to because of work. She calls me crying saying that they started talking about politics, and my girlfriend said her views. She's not even a hardcore conservative or anything, I'd say a very mild conservative, who voted Trump.
She said they all started bullying her, saying "oh so you're a conservative" and started calling her racist (she's half Asian) and that she only cares about money and basically ganged up on her. And felt alone because no one shared her views and said they made her feel like a bad person. She's very smart but not really good at explaining herself politically or talking politics.
I wish I was there because I would have torn them a new one.
The left are a bunch of bullies. Sad that you can't even talk politics anymore with these people throwing a fit and name-calling people for their beliefs.
It is a rare teacher that is a good person Let me tell you, teachers are a special bunch of democrats. Most of them, next to being selfish virtue signalers, are truly stupid. Most believe they are the most valuable people on the planet and are bitter because they don't get the respect they deserve for being the royalty they think they are. They are small minded entitled brats. And that myth about not getting paid anything? It's just that. A myth. Look in the public records at the salaries and benefits that teachers you know earn. One 2nd gr teacher in my district earns 80k/yr and about 30k in benefits. And don't forget, that comes with 2 solid months OFF in summer. 5 days OFF for Easter, 5 days OFF for Christmas, every weekend OFF. Every holiday OFF. Pensions. It goes on and on. They sit and whine while sitting in the sun poolside all summer long. They nauseate me. You can't breathe ONE WORD that reveals that you have a different opinion from them because they live in an insulated world and can't handle anything new coming in. They fall apart. Like babies. They're horrible people.
Growing up I always wanted to be a teacher. When I finally got there and found out what they were like, and what the system that had grown up around them was like, I only lasted a few weeks. I graduated high honors from a top ten university. I'm a carpenter now.
Hahaha I relate bud. I was an education major aiding in a special Ed classroom wanting to be a teacher before I got in there and actually was in that environment. I luckily got a summer job in a cabinet shop before the student loan debt really got me.
Now I make custom homes the smell of fresh cut pine in the morning and working with my hands is so much more sustainable. The leftist insanity is a disease.
