Former union worker here. I have a very jaded view of unions in general. The union I was in had a bunch of unions reps that didn't do shit for the workers. They were all about sending union reps to their union conferences in places like Las Vegas and partying it up and getting shitfaced, but when it came time to stand up for their craft they didn't know their ass from their elbows. We did have some good benefits so they did something at some point long ago, but the current ones in there were straight shit.
