That's fair, but being involved on the ground of this effort, I am pretty confident that he's gone. The way the special election is structured works against him.

Now who we replace him with is going to get interesting. The early RINOs are not acceptable, and absent a Rick Grennell entry, there's risk.

Remember, 31% of those who signed the petition are not Republicans (including me).
