Well that’s fishy, did she just come down here to start trouble? Because I’m in Texas and have been in many stores with no mask and have had zero problem.
Do you live a blue area. I know that not all of texas is red. She is making the case that because bank of america and office depot are not private property (not sure about that) she doesnt have to follow their mask policy because they are public businesses
I am in a red area, I did see her first arrest and felt very sorry for her, but that changes if she’s from Oregon, visiting Texas. I mean two arrests in a short period, she’s just trying to start trouble. We are the friendly state, and who knows if the mask is the only problem at this point
Plenty of based people come from oregon. Portland has a lot of people thinking all of oregon is like that which is completely untrue. Look up greater Idaho. As for the woman starting trouble on purpose, i have no way of confirming or denying that. The only factual things are the mask mandates have been lifted and some places are still enforcing them. Oh and she's been arrested twice for trespassing and resisting arrest.
We're friendly until you step on our toes. Liberals are stomping on our rights, government too, and illegals are destroying our state. I'm not feeling too friendly right now. I wouldn't call us the friendly state at the moment because I imagine many are feeling similar.
Private property means someone (including corporations) owns the property and pays taxes on it. Public property is owned by the citizens (ie government buildings, city/state/federal parks, etc) and is maintained by tax dollars. Private property can be open to the public as most businesses are but they are still private property and if you get out of hand, you can be asked to leave. If you refuse, then it become trespassing. If a peace officer is available and they ask you to leave & refuse, then it becomes criminal trespass. Businesses are in a tight spot because they feel obligated to "protect" their customers & employees. Because of the fear generated about masks by the media, there are many who feel the need to wear them even though the science shows they are fairly ineffective. So they tend to err on the side of caution. I don't agree with it but that is the way things are right now and that is where the fight should be. Had the woman gone into the business and was told to leave, she should have left and brought a civil suit but instead acted like a fucktard and broke the law by trespassing and got arrested.
Who knows. We get so many refugees from other crappy states now there is no telling. These morons are saying she is being arrested for not wearing a mask. The truth is she is being arrested for criminal trespass. Here in Texas, private property is private and if you are told to leave it and refuse, you get your ass arrested. It is all so stupid but I suppose that is what our culture has become.
Texas. Shes from Oregon and is visiting.
Blood boiling Omg I will kill somebody
