Another related term is discrimination. Hell, every time you make a choice of one thing over another you discriminate. Eating steak over hamburger is discrimination.

Am I going to choose a doctor who speaks English, and went to a top US medical school, over someone I can barely understand speak and has a degree from some third world shit hole country, you are god damn right I am. It doesn't matter what their ethnicity or color is.
