If you have both shots unedited and properly synced it's obvious that his hand falls to the right in one shot and to the left in the other of the same microphone. Notice all the crops this guy uses to hide that.
And if you look at the full length video you can see that his hand passes over both microphones on the right.
And can we please not forget the blending errors? His hand is not properly on top of that microphone. You can compare it to his own "I recreated it" video to see what it looks like when it happens for real.
The depth of field is wrong too. His head is crisply in focus. His hand is crisply in focus. The "dead cat" is out of focus. You can see what proper depth of field looks like in his own example video, and you can see what all these mics look like in focus at 17s.
If a movie had this level of quality in its CGI we'd laugh right in the theater. If they let us in theaters.
