I had the CCP virus late last year. It wasn't a good experience but I got through it ok. After my infection I asked to get an antibody test, which I received a month after recovering. Positive result as expected.
Now, here is the weird thing. I asked my wife to call about getting a test. We use the same doctors office. They told her that "those tests aren't really reliable". Interesting in that I just received one a month earlier. I've had 3 over the course of year. 2 neg. 1 pos. From what I have researched antibodies mean immunity. No need for the Jab until they are gone.
This week I spoke to a coworker who asked for the antibody test during his annual checkup and he heard the same thing from his doctor "those tests aren't really reliable".
I feel these doctors are worried people will use their own common sense and forgo the vaccine if they have immunity. Is anyone else hearing the same thing?
I have an appointment next week and I will ask about this test. I want to get it as I had covid in Dec
