I know it probably sounds silly but the only shows I watch are re-runs from the 60s and 70s...it's somehow comforting and reminds me of how "normal" life was. I won't even consider viewing the shit they put out today.

It's not silly; it's comforting. We all need some comfort after slogging around the digital trenches day after day. It's not like today's shows offer even the slightest bit of normalcy or wholesomeness, so we go to what we are used to.

My father commented the other day how he was watching old episodes of Wagon Train and that each episode had a story that had a moral to it and based on God's word. You are not going to get that from Hollywood today.
