It wasn't optics, they didn't want to fight BLAMTIFA.
Every time MAGA went to DC BLAMTIFA came out and harrassed and assaulted people.
Trump knew it would happen again. The Army, NG, DC etc... didn't want the optics of fighting against BLAMTIFA.
But this time they didn't show up, seems strange. Almost as if they were all in disguise mixed into the crowed or something. But thats crazy talks, probably Kremlin disinformation...

DC is not a State and had no Governor, hence the President of the USA has sole authority to ask for it.

This is call insubordination at least. Officers at the pentagon who "rejected the advice" should have immediately been relieved of command and arrested.
Apparently the Washington Post has some type of clearance to see internal documents above the constitutional elected President.
Wonder why none of these people came forward during the sham of a 2nd Impeachment attempt? Could have saved us all some time with the truth. Unbelievable levels of corruption and incompetence.
