But here is my take on what really happened. They (call 'em Deep State traitors or whatever) tried to draw Trump's supporters into violence ALL DAY. Based on what I personally witnessed.
We never engaged. Sure there were some scuffles. I think a lot of that was by infiltrated agitators. But a few agitators are not enough to spark a bloody war. If you watch those uncut videos, you will see patriots keeping peace and preventing vandalism. The Patriots protected the Capitol more that the police did.
So what happened in that hallway? In the vid he even points out that you can see the shooter's free hand leaves the gun and he says he's responding to his ear-piece. Then the next person through the door gets shot. Accurate.
They thought we would react with more violence and Ashli would have been just one of dozens or hundreds of casualties.
They chose to ignore the rules of use of lethal force, ordered the killing of an innocent patriot and hoped we would justify further bloodshed. We disappointed them again. Praise God.
