I am a member of the UA, us actual workers were pissed when our head guy not only endorsed Biden, but sent out a letter to all of us full of lies about Trump. I came very close to leaving the union over it but I have a family to feed. All I can hope for is we get rid of our head guy this next go around.
That's the problem, the UA is nationwide, I live in FL and you'd be hard pressed to find anyone in our local of 1000+ members who didn't own a MAGA hat. We raised as much hell as we could but what more can we do? I'd rather we not endorse any candidate tbh.
That's what you've got to do. Get rid of the head guy!
Quote from article: "Maybe the rank and file in these unions should start taking these matters more seriously and force some changes? There was zero justification to endorse Joe Biden over Donald Trump in the last election. On merit, Trump was far better for the auto industry. He was trying to save jobs, not export them..."

Yet many people are too ignorant to realize that despite voting for many of the people the union tells them to, things never seem to get much better.
Ok but did you take a public stance?
