It's ironic to me because in the link, he talks about fans being misfits, picked on, growing up dirt poor like him, etc. Now he's gotten some success and will be bullied, cancelled, demonetized, etc by most of his peers and certainly by the music industry. Only difference for him is wealth and he now has a following? Corey's profession is a lot like being the frontman of a political rally. I would be shocked if he hasn't said or participated in misogyny on the road throughout his career or while he was climbing the local music scene trying to get a record deal. I bet if he was open, honest, and self reflecting enough with himself...There is probably more of a parallel between he and Trump than Corey would care to acknowledge. 😉😅

You ain't kidding. Even Barry said it,"Everyone wishes they were Donald Trump."

These muppets have no conviction. Women are leading the charge on the conservative side of things now... In Congress and in media. The men with voices are absolutely marginalized and the women are platformed only when their words are deemed abhorrent enough to bolster public opinion of "muh wayciss!"

I'm looking to shake up my metal playlist. Any recs?

Oh I love being introduced to new rotation to my musical supply. Not sure if you ever got into Godsmack but I have always loved this band. They are Wrathchild America. This was Shannon Larkin's first band, Godsmack's drummer, as far as I am aware of. This is their first Album, it's got an awesome cover of Have A Cigar: https://youtu.be/KhngVgiCq9o. Their 2nd album is EVEN better. Diverse time change, great progression, and can swing from metal into a reggae feel in the course of a song, bass tone is on point. The guys are huge Clive Barker and Wes Craven fans. Song inspiration includes Hell Raiser movies, Silence of the Lambs, stupid people, and parties. It's called 3-D: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5d_44T5Oc1qggoNvVqns9MDs-ktOLUme

This is a great album from Flotsam and Jetsam. Metallica recruited Jason Newstead from this band. This album is Cuatro, this is after Newstead went to Metallica: https://youtu.be/4AXvabTf4Js Here's another Flotsam album that I dig! https://youtu.be/tYlcYo6yWEk These guys I know. My husband is a musician and has played with these guys. They are called Sweaty Nipples and are from Portland. They got an honorable mention on Beavis and Butthead, played Woodstock '99. Brian Lehfeld, their drummer, played with Everclear on an album or 2.These guys are great, even their sound checks were entertaining. I know Brian best out of the band. He's a huge doglover and last I talked to him, which has been a while, was doing MMA. This album is called Bug Harvest: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_kWPIeauMI6GUQAY4OocIcUAd5OGBoDg-4 I could give more suggestions so let me know anytime. Got any suggestions for me? 🙂
