History has a long arc my friend. And frankly I don't think they are winning at all. In fact I think they are the unwitting engineers of their ultimate fate.
You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.
I legit wouldn't. People romanticize the hell out of working for Tesla or SpaceX. You have to remember that because they're a monopoly in both cases, they can afford to treat their employees like shit, because there's no one else in the industry those employees could go to if they quit.
Bullshit, i have a friend that worked as a machinist setup and operator at SpaceX, he said it was an awesome work environment, he had a blanket line item PO approval for tooling and machinery of 100k, meaning if he needed ANYTHING that cost less than 100k he could PO it himself. Anything they needed to meet deadlines, he would call HAAS and say "I need another VF4" and it would be delivered the next day, no need to get approval from the bean counters or anything.
They expected excellence from their employees, and gave them the responsibilities and pay to match it, Incredibly fast pace and high accuracy work, It's for the best of the best in their fields, not lazy people.
He ended up parlaying that "mid-entry level" job into running the complete production environment for a military aerospace company where his insane attention to speed and detail nearly tripled their production rate, they went from running 5 days a week 2 and sometimes 3 shifts, to a single shift of 4 10s, with everyone getting friday off.
This is categorically false on all fronts. You legit have no idea what you're talking about. SpaceX and Teslas are monopolies? Anyone who takes you seriously after reading that is fucking retarded. I'm not even going to address the other untruths because they are that fucking stupid.
Also, I've heard reports that apparantly, Tesla and SpaceX employees work absurd hours despite being a developed company, thrive only on subsidies from government, and do actually treat their workers poorly.
They do work very hard and sometimes long hours, but their employees are treated very well, and compensated generously including the ability to buy stock (not available to the public in the case of spacex, and is worth its weight in gold). I had a buddy that worked there and he said it was absolutely amazing, they give their employees a ton of responsibility and expect excellence from them in return. It's the best of the best, hardest workers, definitely not for everyone.
I said 'they can afford to' for a reason you know. Doesn't matter if they treat their employees well or not, what I said is still true. People forget how hard it really is to change jobs. Uprooting your life is a lot to ask. Too much for most people. Even if their not a true monopoly, the have an overwhelming majority market share. They could abuse that power if they wanted to.
On an unrelated note, Elon's technically a genius, but an idiot when it comes to values. He's a champagne socialist and a transhumanist. I don't know why anyone here defends him.
Only compliments are allowedd. They have great taste in children, they are efficient at waging wars, They are so beloved that one time ISIS accidentally killed their kind and profusely apologized immediately for several weeks after.
despite the fact that I'm smarter than Elon Musk (and so are you).
I'm not so arrogant as to assume I'm smarter than a man I've never met that's done things I've never done.
I'm no blind Elon fanboy by any means, I think $TSLA is hopium-fueled nonsense and the cars themselves are kinda shit. On the other hand tho it's easy to talk big on the internet but actually building a reusable booster is a big deal and I have mad respect for Elon for pulling it off. He's basically our space program right now.
This is nonsense. NASA has been a spook toy factory and welfare program for legacy aerospace since Apollo ended. Dumb evolutionary path taken for like 30 years, basically stagnation because everything cost a billion dollars with the Shuttle. It looked fucking cool but as a vehicle to get to space it sucked total ass.
Finally someone gets rich enough to do the rocket thing, and manages it. Then leveraging mostly off the shelf control systems he makes the fucking things land themselves, instantly cutting costs of a launch by like 50%, and with increasing ROI until it finally wears out and blows up or misses the pad. It's absolutely amazing, and really is revolutionary for space. This is why SpaceX impresses me but Blue Origin and Virgin don't. SpaceX fundamentally changed the game.
If Starlink works as intended it will also be a game changer, and requires so many launches it was cost infeasible until reusable boosters.
Personally, I'd say both extremes miss the mark somewhat. Remember, prior to Tesla and SpaceX, Musk co-founded and built what was effectively the precursor to Map Quest and Google Maps. And a few years later founded one of the first online banking services, which later merged with Peter Thiel's Confinity to become Paypal and paved the landscape of online consumer banking.
While he's certainly been lucky, I think it's more than fair to suggest that luck isn't the only factor shaping his trajectory, rather that to do what he has also requires a level of intelligence and forward-thinking. I certainly wouldn't suggest that he's the greatest businessman ever, but with Zip2 and X, he certainly made a prediction on the future of the internet and technology that won out. And while he didn't technically 'found' Tesla as such, the two actual founders were absolutely spinning their wheels before he took a more active role in the company.
So I'd say that he's at the very least both lucky and competent. Most executives and investors often know jack shit about the product and development process, they can memorize copy, but their job has very little to do with actually knowing and understanding how everything works. The fact that Musk clearly has some understanding about how his companies work (even if he is prone to flights of fancy that rarely pan out) is at least noteworthy.
Dig enough on these people and you'll see it's just King making done by the elites. Elon is what happens when they decide to crown someone with charisma and good marketing.
I don’t know the man - nor do I care to, so I will not try to judge.
But I will say that if he offered me a seat on a rocket to Mars, then win, lose or blow up, I’d take it, because this planet is clearly past the critical mass of morons.
I'm pro Israel I also believe we shouldn't be giving them any money unless it's military aid but, the second you criticize that country you get called an antisemite. Criticism is not antisemitic.
Also, the people who hate Israel are stupid as well. "The Jews got kicked out of 109 countries" Christians got kicked out of 50. It's not about behavior, it's about warfare and politics.
I've noticed this trend, but I don't think there's a secret Jewish conspiracy, I think they just say this because it works.
They can't say "we have a right to be corrupt and rich!" because people will rightly throw them away. But if they can accuse the very realization of their actions as discrimination or bigotry there's a chance they can smear and discredit it.
It seems abundantly obvious to me that the rich and powerful would be corrupt and hire mercenary propagandists to cover for them. It's standard PR but the clients are criminals at the highest level of society.
It really isn’t all Jews =( It’s only a small portion + other kinds of crazy.
Easy jokes aside, there are lots that are deeply conservative Jewish people who run legit businesses and pay their employees well. They donate their time and money, and would stand shoulder to shoulder with you.
Yes I am aware of the select ramblings of bitter nasty assholes in the Babylonian Talmud. I am sure most don’t actually agree with something so hateful and petty. Most just want to get by.
I honestly think focusing on the group is pointless, we need to put up a list of evil names, and go after that. The nasty marxists are famous for creating layers between them and justice, and using a group to hide behind is a classic tactic.
This is my thinking. They don't have enough power and influence yet to just come out and say "Yeah we're communists, so what?" so they need something to smear or discredit people who are on to them.
"Anti-Semitism" works at least some of the time, so it's valuable to them. Interpreting this as "That proves it! There's a Jewish conspiracy!" is a huge mistake. Plays right into their hands.
Funny how anti semitism gets a free pass but you all call out leftist idealogues for shutting down independent for playing the race and trance caard.
If what was said is factually incorrect then it should be adequately refuted, not shouted down with yet another -ism card. You are no better than them.
I guess y’all haven’t figured out yet that the Muslims are using you guys as useful idiots to attack the Jews. The Qatari government thanks you for your participation, now ramp it up!
AJ+ is the activism arm of Al Jazeera, and they own a major stake in TYT (who gave us AOC) and several other “independent” leftist media outlets. Saudi Arabia also owns a sizable stake in Twitter (dopey Prince Alwaleed is one of the investors).
So what does it feel like to get played at your own game?
And this is why I say that the people who hate us and are trying to destroy us, are not as smart as they think they are... Top rate material BTW.
In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king
History has a long arc my friend. And frankly I don't think they are winning at all. In fact I think they are the unwitting engineers of their ultimate fate.
You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.
They seem to ultimately fail and get destroyed every 80 years throughout history. It has been just past 80 years.
I totally agree with this. They mistake no or little opposition as a signal to advance.
practicing tribalism in a society that is attempting a meritocracy is what makes them powerful, but not smart.
The loudest ones are always guilty. Like all those hollywood hippocrates screaming about how bad Trump is. Scared to be exposed.
Yup. Just see which ones squirmed the most when Ricky Gervais ripped Epstein at the Golden Globes.
https://youtu.be/sR6UeVptzRg
The hippocrates are not the ones you have to worry about. The socrates are so much worse lol.
Good ole spell check strikes again 🤣
Makes you want to swear an oath or something.
"Me thinks the lady doth protest too much"
Shakespeare knew what was up.
Adam Schiff comes to mind....
Guilty dog barks loudest
Anyone one got a link to this interview?
It was on twitter.
If Elon offered me a job I'd take it.

This is the capitalism of dreams.
No protection of slackers and do nothings... sound like a great place to work.

Elon is the government graft king.
Don't hate the player, hate the game.
At least he uses his money for good causes (like space travel)
They do work very hard and sometimes long hours, but their employees are treated very well, and compensated generously including the ability to buy stock (not available to the public in the case of spacex, and is worth its weight in gold). Yeah, but you get to blow stuff up like, all the time. They've got to be doing it for fun now.
On the plus side, they get to blow stuff up and get paid for it.
Jeez. It seems I bothered some people.
I said 'they can afford to' for a reason you know. Doesn't matter if they treat their employees well or not, what I said is still true. People forget how hard it really is to change jobs. Based. Great point here, pede. Love it.
"A guilty conscience needs no accuser"
Apologize for Ruby Ridge you fucking Glow Stick.
Oy Vey
I love how uttering those two words alone exposes the very same people Elon was referencing.
Clearly certain people here can neither see the irony nor put 2 and 2 together.
It's exactly what Trump did. He ran on America First and suddenly the guilty stepped forward FREAKING THE FUCK out.
Yes it's always been the Jews.
You can tell it's real because it looks so fake - Elon Musk
Hit the nail on the head!
Only compliments are allowedd. They have great taste in children, they are efficient at waging wars, They are so beloved that one time ISIS accidentally killed their kind and profusely apologized immediately for several weeks after.
This is why i chuckle every time that when someone mentions Jews then they get attacked..wonder why...
Luck can get you rich overnight, you can make the argument Elon got his money by being in the right place at the right time.
Luck doesn't assemble a team capable of making SpaceX rockets.
Sounds easy, you should go do it.
I'm not so arrogant as to assume I'm smarter than a man I've never met that's done things I've never done.

I'm pro-Israel too! I want to see the entire world's diaspora to return, so they can prosper on their own, without America's help!

This is great. We can deport all the jew-haters in one go.
Do you have a big nose?
In the past The Donald has been very good at rooting out anti-semintism. Sad to see the clowns taking over the site.
Good goy.
Oy vey!
Now do racism/fascism/transphobia.
Funny how anti semitism gets a free pass but you all call out leftist idealogues for shutting down independent for playing the race and trance caard.

Funny. Goes well before anything Al Jazeera or TYT. centuries of global manipulation speaks more about this than a checkmark on twitter.
People who don’t understand your last sentence especially need to do some research, you nailed it.
