I am not saying it is or isn’t fake, what I am saying is I have been around enough press conferences - live - to know that booms, especially with the mic pointed up, to be very unstable and moves all over the place and it looks to ME- that his hand passed over it and not thru it. If YOU see that, good on you. I don’t see it.

Quick lesson on perspective. Producers use mics. Those are several inches in front of their face. Up to a foot. Perhaps a boom mic up to 2 or so feet.
Biden is about 5 feet away from the camera. His arm, and only his arm clips through two microphones.
