It will still be pointless because this whole thing, objectively, is extremely overblown. It's not worth a vaccination unless maybe you're over 65 and / or have some extreme morbidities. Mandated vaccination for all for something like this wimp virus doesn't make sense though
This particular virus spreads like wildfire, it's important to get vaccinated to kill the numbers on it, not necessarily to save you. It's far more contagious than the flu.
That said, I'm not going to disagree with you about this being overblown. My previous comments around here are pretty clear that I think that, even though I'm pretty pro vaccine.
On the point of it spreading quickly, I also think WAY more people have had it than ever got tested for it. I"m fairly sure that I had it, as did everyone in my house. We didn't get tested because we want to add to the "CASES!!!" nor deal with the "contact tracing" or quarantining or any of that bullshit. And I'm SURE there are millions of people just like that. I really think most people who thought they might've had it, did not get tested.
They really made fun of Trump for that one, because he didn't say it very eloquently, but you're 100% right and so was he. More tests = more known cases. I'm not sure why that was controversial except for the fact that he said it....
