Too bad Europeans don't have actual rights. Their concepts of free speech, have a fair trial and due process and the right to self defense are derived from what their governments allow them to have. As a result, their governments can and do take away those rights at a whim. In the US, we know that our rights are inherent and natural as it is to breathe and while our government frequently does impinge on those rights, we have a culture of people that know those infringements are illigitimate. I laugh at people who admire Europe and want to be like them.
