Considering the paper in your wallet is worth exactly paper. And is only given whatever material wealth by those that say it does. I fail to see how crypto isn't the next wave?

At present, they can say whatever something is worth. And they cannot with crypto? I knew everyone was going crypto when major credit card companies started collecting it as well. And the credit card companies go hand in hand with banks.

I do agree that real assets will be required. But it doesn't deflect from the fact that the paper in your wallet is simply paper until such time you swipe your hand over a node for payment instead.

If we are smart, we will establish a monetary system on the gold standard again.

This will only work until the globalist scum gets in and take control over it. If we're smart, we need to get rid of the central authority. That means a mix of precious metal coins and truly decentralized crypto.

Land will be gold when all is said and done.

We shall see who owns it.

I'm a fan of the arguments for a basket of commodities to back the next currency. This would, of course, include gold and silver, but also more utilitarian commodities like oil.

What happens if there is a worldwide EMP? Where's your Bitcoins then? How would you cash out? Everyone lives as if civilization will never fall. I am sure the Romans thought they would rule the world forever... As Trump would tell them. "YOU'RE WRONG!" Gold, silver, other portable valuables and weapons held their value even after the fall of Rome. If you don't hold it in your hand and physically protect it by force, it ain't worth doodly squat when the shit hits the fan, and it will hit the fan.

Perhaps a system based on Land?
