I would be careful about overestimating the amount of the incentive. I think if this ever comes out we'll be shocked, saddened, and enraged by the piddly amounts some sold their souls and country for. Pennies-on-the-dollar to effect civilizational consequences. A junket or two to Vegas or Miami for a demo, some "entertainment", a generous-enough SuperPAC contribution, direct benefits of the ballot-box stuffing, etc... Its a vast but shallow swamp.
