Determining whether something matters or not depends totally on your perspective/goals. Imo, of course "it matters". Alot. Why? From the perspective of saving our Republic and returning power to the American people, creating transparent, fair elections ie one citizen, one vote, everyone is equal is VITAL Achieving that outcome, imo, is worth sacrificing, temporarily, Trump being in the WH. It could turn out to be like General MacArthur temporarily leaving the Phillipines during WW11. A strategic retreat/withdrawal. A very smart decision that made victory possible. It allowed him the time to regroup. MacArthur vowed to return. He did. Then he went on to crush his adversary completely. We'll see how the current " strategic withdrawal" turns out. Exciting times.

What if the Dems decided to replay 2018 and just steal the senate instead of “steal fucking everything”?
Yeah, we would have Trump - but he wouldn’t get anything passed. Four more years of the administrative state temporarily slowed by Trump as the chief executive would have been great (since the 1% of the executive that would have obeyed him while the rest disobeyed and undermined/ciaramella’d him would have been better than nothing) but he couldn’t get any legislation. It would have been four years of the media screaming at him over the never ending manufactured shutdown crises.
Then in 2024 we would have elected the next democrat or pence, or some other useless republican shill (I don’t say rino anymore, they are all shit), and we would be right back where we were in 2001/2009, with a brand new grifter ready to sell us out to China.
We needed the corruption that is all of DC to be exposed and with that knowledge, free and fair elections so we can fix said corruption. Trump successfully accomplished #1, #2 is going to have to be on us.
