People seem to think spraying with an automatic weapon with a 30 round clip kills 100 people. Probably way safer if the shooter is using full auto, the shooter would probably miss you.
Yeah they're idiots. They banned teflon coated bullets after an action movie came out where they were some kind of super bullet that could penetrate anything.
That was one of the Lethal Weapon movies. Danny Glover throws an Uzi to Mel Gibson and shouts "cop killers" to indicate the gun is loaded with armor piercing bullets. LOL.
Some liberals will says that's because there's more handguns but will over look concealment. Going down the street with an assault rifle isn't exactly inconspicuous.
Criminals prefer handguns. If you look at the BLM riots which largely consisted of criminals who had a beef with the cops for obvious reasons you'll notice a lot of handguns.
If you remember the Kyle Rittenhouse footage people complained about these militias but if you looked closely you have criminal militias also armed but more discretely.
The court had already defined “arms” protected by 2nd Amendment as at least those equivalent to a standard individual loadout of an military infantryman when the Leftists tried to outlaw handguns and pistols, on the logic that the 2nd only protected long guns. When the court ruled specifically that handgun possession IS a right under the 2nd, the leftists reversed course, and now try to argue that ONLY handguns are protected.
That part of the constitution was inspired by a few things but predominantly that often when one group wanted to persecute, suppress or even destroy another the first thing is it seeks to do is to strip it of its means to defend itself.
I don't pay much attention to what happens in the supreme court but I have some experience, knowledge and insight to have a sense of what it is the constitution refers to and what it actually intends.
It's the purpose of the arms in my book that is sacrosanct and those have to be sufficient for a group to defend itself. That would be anything up to that and it makes no sense to exclude handguns.
Because they can be better hidden you might have different rules in certain relevant situations but that's situation specific and needs justification, it can't be arbitrary.
You can also conceal a tommy gun in a violin case so you have to think these things through and can't be stupid with it.
The 2nd is a bit complicated. It has some origins going back to British law but it also has relevance to the war of independence as well. Though people don't like it much in many ways that was a civil war or basically a war against the government.
That would tend to imply that the arms should also be sufficient to resist government oppression as well. That implication stretches back further where arms would be taken from Catholics or Protestants depending who was king so it's not simply just about groups being mutually armed against each other but very specifically also to protect them from government or regal authority.
My point wasn’t to discuss the original intent, but the way the Leftists throw out any respect for it and will use any justification to degrade the protections, in this case shaping their argument into a ‘negative space’ within recent precedent that nobody thought needed to even be stated within the ruling because it was self-evident. Now they pretend it wasn’t part of the original argument and shamelessly use the reverse!
Yeah, and go back a couple days to the first night of the Kenowhere riots, there were "protesters" armed with ar-15s surrounding a police armored vehicle near the courthouse. When the cops briefly popped the top hatch to toss some gas at them they went around to the back and shot at them from behind.
I don't remember seeing that. I do remember the black militia that was doing a march calling for reparations and pestering that guy being idiots not knowing they were potentially breaking the law in effect holding people up and asking for money at gun point and then if I remember I think they had two friendly fire incidents somehow on a peaceful march.
The "Not Fucking Around Coalition?" Those jokers have come out twice and shot themselves both times. Most of them had airsoft and few had MP22s with jams. The pictures of their leaders look like something out of Mogadishu.
I remember that, wish I saved the video. There's an MRAP stopped by a crowd. The person filming yells that the cops are putting on gas masks, then the cops toss gas grenades out the top hatch. As they drive away, Mr. One Man Militia pops off a few shots with an AR.

I remember the Not Fucking Around Coalition, which was a group of armed black people. At at least 1 maybe 3 total, of their rallies, someone had an negligent discharge which injured one of their own.
She supposedly confused hydroxychloroquine (malaria, covid drug) with chloroquine in the fish tank cleaner. She was a big anti-Trumper, psycho, (BIRM) and probably murdered her husband for publicity.
The actual number is less than 1% for rifles. Crimes using firearms are 95% hand guns. Here are the stats by weapon for Pedes who are better at math than I am. Math is raysiss! https://www.statista.com/statistics/195325/murder-victims-in-the-us-by-weapon-used/
No no, you don't get it. A fully semi automatic rifle can kill people a lot faster than a fully semi automatic hand gun can.

They do pretty much think that a gun does all the killing and bullets are magical heat seeking objects.
Especially with a fifty caliber clipazine and the shoulder thing that goes up.
Do semi-automatic handguns exist, because I would want one.
Not sure if serious, but yes. Practically all of them.
So what you are saying is we need to get 50 cal bullets for Handguns then?

Here’s the ACTUAL REASON: Supreme Court Rulings
The court had already defined “arms” protected by 2nd Amendment as at least those equivalent to a standard individual loadout of an military infantryman when the Leftists tried to outlaw handguns and pistols, on the logic that the 2nd only protected long guns. "If you remember the Kyle Rittenhouse footage"

If you want to go by body count, the club has killed more humans throughout history than all other weapons combined. Time to ban assault clubs!
If by club you mean nightclub, specifically hiphop ones, then yes we should ban them. They're a magnet for shootings and other nefarious behaviors
No, hes talking about ancient head boppers dug up from ancient kekistani armories on display in museums.
Captain Caveman!
...can't it be both?
A baby seal has entered the chat.
Interesting that Narcotics is listed as a "weapon".
Technically accurate, I guess.
Women use poison to murder somebody 80% of the time. Just like that lady that gave her husband fish tank cleaner.
I remember that.
She supposedly confused hydroxychloroquine (malaria, covid drug) with chloroquine in the fish tank cleaner. She was a big anti-Trumper, psycho, (BIRM) and probably murdered her husband for publicity.
“I’m gonna stick these drugs in you, motherfucker!”
Bludgeoned to death by a baggie......I had always envisioned a bit more of a heroic ending.
"personal weapons (hands, fists, feet, etc.) - 600 rifles - 364"
This is good information to know!
All the proof you need that if you keep taking away "weapons" we will still find a way to kill each other.
