I am wondering if any fellow techies help me out with this.
Twitter uses https, so I don’t think it’s possible to block this at a router level.
What do you all think? Only because I find my ass going down the rabbit hole

Well, there are browser extensions that can block twitter, also parental control software. A good reason to block Facebook and Twitter from loading is so they can't track you. Look in your browser's app store or on your device for a twitter blocker. That would be most straightforward.
