It always blows my mind though how such inept, evil, insane people managed to pull the election scam off and infiltrate culture, business, media, colleges and every aspect of our society. We’re too nice, too decent. They know this and take full advantage of it.

They are pathologically greedy sociopaths, driven by dysfunctional motivations that normal people don't have.
It's not that we're too nice, it's that we don't fully comprehend what we're up against.
