As others are pointing out Putin is 100% pro-Russia, which is perfectly respectable, and something the Democrats simply refuse to be for their own country, but we do need to be careful about joking our way into inviting foreign leaders to run our affairs.
Putin is not asking us to let him lead our country! He wants to talk about things that are really important, not about how many genders there are, or if men should compete with women in sports, or abortion rights, or gun-control for Americans.
