Is like saying that Trump can change and be on the "inside" if he wanted to. Of course, anyone can change. But the odds of that happening with Putin or Trump is very negligible .
One key thing Trump was doing was reducing the NATO presence in Eastern Europe, one, because the EU wasn't paying, and two, he kew Putin wasn't thinking about invading EU territory, he was busy reclaiming border states, but we didn't need to get involved.
Pretty sure Putin and Trump understood each other, and it was obvious they stayed out of each other's way. Now? Putin knows what a putz Biden is when he's got a clear moment during the day when he remembers who he is. And that he's negotiating with the real puppet master, Obama.
