Philly use to be a huge manufacturing city up until the late 80's. All those neighborhood were hard working blue collar men and women raising their children right. All the jobs disappeared or they went broke because of the unions and government meddling/taxes. All the big cities in the north east are crumbling thanks to democratic rule

Also because our government incentivized big business to close up shop and send jobs overseas. Meanwhile Trump fights to bring the jobs back and dumb asses in these same cities work to cheat in favor of the people who destroyed their cities in the first place.

Until the 1970s, New York was the #1 state for manufacturing, and Detroit was the richest city in America. Then: immigration was opened up, china was allowed access to our markets, and the fed was given powers to print unlimited debt-dollars.

Philly had every major manufacturer an several refineries. They even had a major, independently owned ship yard...which BTW is now a Casino...Let that sink in.
