I mean, technically they are correct about black Americans being slaughtered. The problem is, they're the ones slaughtering themselves, and the rest of the country is so woke that nobody is doing anything about it because they don't want to be accused of being racist.
There's an interview with Putin from a day or so ago, he uses that same line, but in the context that we are genocidal because we slaughtered indians for no good reason (had nothing to do with them scalping men and selling women and children into slavery), and because we nuked Japan for no military reason whatsoever.
They're trying to use the lefts silly bullshit against us.
Snrk. We nuked Japan to break them. We had two choices -- send ground forces and lose potentially hundreds of thousands of our own men in order to secure Japanese surrender, OR drop two bombs and obtain Japanese surrender without further loss of our own troops. It's pretty obvious which of those is the superior decision.
We kind of did commit genocide against Native American's though. We butchered them en masse for their land. They were just defending it. Then we butchered them some more on the trail of tears. We did AWFUL THINGS to Native Americans and it's one of America's shames. We were wrong to do what we did and we're wrong to keep them on reservations on the shittiest land we could find and we're wrong that we let alcoholism destroy their societies. We did something horrible.
We dropped nukes on Japan for two reasons:
1.) It was projected that in order to get a foothold on the Island of Japan, it'd cost AT LEAST 1 MILLION American Troops. This is a tall fucking order considering the country was already war weary in Europe. That level of men and them going to their graves was unacceptable.
2.) Japan was working on Biological/Chemical WMDs and were just about there. In fact, they had plans to attack San Diego 3 weeks after Nagasaki and Hiroshima (if it didn't happen). The US knew about a possible Chemical attack the Japanese were planning and we didn't want that to happen so we did the only thing available to us: Nuke them. We got forced into a corner on that. America was right to drop the bombs. It stopped them from destroying our west coast and costing a million American lives.
What we were WRONG about in the Japanese point is we took members of Unit 737 (The Japanese Chemical/Biological research who's members would have made Mengala look fucking tame) and gave them immunity for war crimes if they turned over their documentation and research. After we got it, it turns out, their research didn't tell us anything we didn't even know. We were wrong to give them Amnesty.
Spare me the poor pitiful wittle injuns just wanting to defend they're peaceful grasslands way of life bullshit. They gave as good as they got. We tried to trade amd share, and they earned the nickname savages for a reason. They started and lost a war. We treat the lime kings now because of it.
