And now I can't unsee it

Years ago I never really thought anything about it.

What I'm saying is they may have been legitimately hired for the role and not their race but now I question if every single one is a diversity hire

Yes. This is why diversity hiring is so damaging to black people who have actual merit. It lessens their achievements when others are giving praise for being mediocre.

Every black manager I see at work, I think the same thing.

Now do the same for doctors! .... would you want a diversity hire doctor?

Bad example. Frankly, I think all doctors are fucking quacks. I had an issue with my wrist after falling from a ladder. I spent a bunch of money on doctors visits and X-rays just for them to say “nothing is wrong”. I said “what don’t do about this pain my wrist?” Doctor said “just take an Advil”. What, for every day for the rest of my life? Fucking worthless cunt. I figured out a wrist stretch routine by myself that eventually fixed the problem. Pain Completely gone, literally no thanks to so-called doctors. I was h I get bathroom trouble too. Spent a bunch of money on doctors visits and the hassle of stool samples just for them to say “nothings wrong”. I asked “so, what don’t do?” Doctor says “just take Imodium”. For the rest of my fucking life??? What a joke! Not one doctor suggested psyllium husk, which is resolved my issues.

Sorry for the rant. I really hate doctors.

Right there with you pal. Anything that isn't a stitch or a bone reset I don't trust them with. Doctors have been taught to treat symptoms and ignore what caused them and it makes for shitty medical care.

In your defense you never think it about a good one that shows they belong there. It's the ignorant loud-mouth women that make you doubt the validity of their position.

One of my black professors in college was talking to me about this once, that it bugged him that even though he earned his place (he was actually a really smart dude) he’d always be seen as the quota hire.

It’s a typical leftist solution, they get to feel good while making the problem worse.

Ain’t it great? All these woketards did was make everything worse.

I think it’s really screwing black ppl over. Do you want to wonder if your doctor passed his exams and is a competent doctor or a lawyer or engineer or whatever?? It’s not right and yet the race hustlers want more of the quota crap instead of expecting POC to be able to compete against all. Bizarre just bizarre.

It was ER and I remember it from your description. It was the black guy with the thin moustache, and I wasn't even a fan! The senior doc was portrayed as a cunt when, it turns out he spoke the hard and ugly truth, and was vilified for it. Good call, great show, strong message.

Do not feel guilty, they did it to themselves. “Repeat the same lie over & over & it becomes the truth” - they have projected “racism” and other shit that did not exist in us for so long that they have created it, basically. They have dug their own holes & do not even know it yet. Call someone ugly long enough they will believe it. Call someone crazy long enough they will believe it. Call someone racist long enough... Does not matter who will not be made into a racist. They are racists & they have caused it & they will reap what they have sewn.

Acting is one of those things that people either can do it or they cant. If someone is a good actor who happens to be black, one would never dream they were a diversity hire. Think Denzel. Think Angela Bassett. If someone is a bad actor who happens to be black, yeah, one's first thought is "diversity hire". But now a days, there are so many shows to watch with great actors I dont care if the studios want to meet their self imposed quotas. Movies and shows with Samuel Jackson, Laweranve Fishburn, Octavia Spencer, Idris Elba and Viola Davis jump right to the top of my queue. I'll watch them all day long in no matter what. Because they are talented masters of their chosen craft. But i'm just a racist old white dude. :)

Some of those actors hate you. Samuel Jackson especially.

What I always find funny are shows depicting Navy SEALS. They always show a very diverse group when in reality, SEALS are 99% white.

Well, none of them know me well enough to really hate me. It takes at least six months, sometimes as long as twenty years for people to REALLY hate me. :)

That's affirmative action for you.

I'm the only white male on my team at work. Am I the diversity hire? 🤔

The number one place for incompetent diversity hires to be deposited, and increase the quota numbers?

Office of Diversity, in any large company

Even the most woke liberal will ask for a "second opinion" when their cardiologist/pulmonologist/oncologist is black.

2
Slugbert 2 points ago +2 / -0

I won’t see a black doctor for this reason.

2
LINDIESUE 2 points ago +2 / -0

That's the whole point now. Most whites in America are not racist. We've been aware of the many years' long Affirmative Action for education/employment (time to end it now). My point is from the time Obama stepped into the White House and started the race war, telling all whites they are racists, I was shocked because I saw people as people. As are most of us, I was busy working and raising my kids, I never thought about skin color because I judge people by their character. I've always known no race is superior to another, but now, I realize that most blacks in America hate whites because of their skin color.

MAGA1775 2 points ago +2 / -0

Bingo. It really started under Obama. Before then, I remember no one really cared about race, it was never an issue.

It was then when Obama stirred the race pot, told blacks they are victims, told white people they are all racists that it really started to pick up.

Now here we are, with all of this manufactured "oppression" and teaching all kids in school's that all white people are evil and racist and black people are all perpetual victims.

There is one particular woman at work who I believe is a diversity hire, but I would never vocalize it anywhere that would call her out. Dangerous for the both of us.

2
Magog 2 points ago +2 / -0

Question every diverse hire and ask yourself that.

Are these hires the most qualified?

Democrats want equal outcomes not equal opportunity.

Fourtyandfourtyfive 2 points ago +2 / -0

This pisses off my black friends.

One in particular told me some mornings he hates looking at “brown skin in the mirror”

He said it links him with the saggin pants crowd, baby daddies and government benefit sponges. People assume the worst in him because of skin color.

Dude is sharp, works hard. Hates N-words. (He gets mad when I edit myself with the phrase N-word.)

20 years ago I just chalked up stuff to nepotism. This is far more invasive.

how can u question fact? affirmative action exists for a reason.

So sad that that's where the civil rights movement is at. The ideas of equity and justice only work to evaporate confidence in our institutions.

Forget TV -- I keep wondering if a doctor or a nurse treating me is a diversity hire...
Can't shake it off, it's now the first thought that pops into my head whenever I interact with a new specialist that happens to be black.

Just like the workforce.
