How does this whole "unaccompanied" child policy thing happen? So kids are walking by themselves hundreds of miles alone or are they with their families and released a block from the border crossing and then they wave them over.

So if you are a kid (under 18) you can go to the border and then they house and feed you and give you train fare and you go where you want? They need to have a name of a relative and address to leave, correct?
