It's beyond our control. I think the MAGA crowd actually does understand that something like that would be self-defeating in a big way. I get the sense that the violent ones (very few) are actually FBI or Antifa. What I find more worrisome is the tightening control the media and government have over public thought. I know an older Trump-voting Republican woman and even she refers to men who dress as women (trannies, to be clear) as "she/her". I heard a Trump-voting Republican female friend today make a comment about "all the hate against Asians". I can't convince them to stop normalizing this insanity and assume in lieu of independently verifiable evidence that the media is full of shit... they just nod then keep following the left while paying lip-service to conservative values. It is utterly distressing.
