Animals:
I haven't seen any positive covid cases in birds, such as canaries, or in reptiles, cats or dogs. Canaries can survive in coal mines and so can humans.
I haven't seen dead wild animals on the trails I've been on. All the deer, squirrels, rabbits and other critters have appeared healthy.
Environment:
Reduced restaurant compacity has warranted an increase in litter, as well as a reduced city staff to maintain a clean environment and safe roads. The same with litter from theft, which increases the cost of the product as well.
Weather and cloud patterns:
Seasonal weather does effect flu seasons, and there's no prevalent data to support a summer flu.
Ask Questions.
Economy:
How many local businesses are permanently shut down?
Hey man, have you taken a financial hit due to covid?
When is the local place that's closed gonna re-open? I heard it's not going to :-(
Do you think we'll have to get a covid shot every year?
Is it possible in season change to trap covid at a higher altitude and release it over the ocean?
Tell the truth:
I have been tested 4 times for covid and tested negative each time.
Speak in a manner which will be receptive. There's no point in passing along information if you sound like an asshole. Nonchalant is key.
Remember, they are pseudo-intellectuals, you have to lead them to water.
Good Luck.
We are the news now.
