They aren't just part of American culture. They are the Current Weapon. If you want to be able to defend yourself and actually stand a chance, you have to have the force multiplier equal to or better than your potential attackers. Which is going to be a gun. Anywhere on the planet, people should be armed and able to defend themselves. It is a God Given Right.
