Who said anything about me being isolated in my faith? I have plenty of friends and loved ones with which I share my faith and my testimony, but I don't need an organized "church" led by infallible people who are more often than not against God in their actions, if not their words.
You are free to believe what you want, but that view isn't Biblical. The Bible encourages like minded people to gather together and use their gifts to build each other up, including some who are gifted as teachers.
That doesn't mean what church looks like today is always right, but isolation isn't good, nor is centering all beliefs around oneself. It is supposed to function like a family, including learning setting each other straight when they get out of line, but also learning to love people you wouldn't personally choose to be associated with.

Innocent people die in war, and civil wars have the major casualties among children. Sun Tzu teaches the best victory is the one we achieve without war, and that depends on moving swiftly and showing our resolve to do war, but our preference to just walk away peacefully.

The US military exists to turn our taxmoney into weapons sales to make a few billionaires richer. That's why we attack insignificant threats like Iraq and Yemen while ignoring real threats like China. It's impossible to sell weapons if you don't have some manufactured reason to use them. The US military does not protecting anyone from anybody. They will never win another war because going into a war with the goal of winning is bad for business.

Am in the military, can confirm that it's a shot shiw. The culture is broken. No one will fix it because no one can. Once you lower the standards and relax your attitude towards things like unit cohesion, discipline, and duty, you don't get it back.
