The US military exists to turn our taxmoney into weapons sales to make a few billionaires richer. That's why we attack insignificant threats like Iraq and Yemen while ignoring real threats like China. It's impossible to sell weapons if you don't have some manufactured reason to use them. The US military does not protecting anyone from anybody. They will never win another war because going into a war with the goal of winning is bad for business.
