I have a feeling that if the dude had killed a bunch of people working at gas stations they would have blamed it on racism towards Indian people, even though they are the ones suggesting that Indian people usually run gas stations.

(It is true. I do know several gas stations in my area that are run by Indian families. One of the guys is a Trump supporter. I know because he asked who I thought would win the day before election.)
