Just some historical perspective on this...

Hawaii looked like a Japanese colony before the attack.

In retrospect, we judge the government harshley. We are wrong to do so in this case. You had a substantial group of unacclimated people living within our borders.

While we publicize the ones who were loyal and proved to be Americans in both body and spirit, we ignore those who aided the Japanese in the initial attacks and have no good data on just how many were actual Japanese assets prevented from acting.

In today's information age, we'd be able to suss out who was dirty more than likely given their digital footprint. At that time? No chance.

I don't like the killing of POWs. Sometimes it's a reality. I don't have to like the fact we felt we needed internment camps. I just have to acknowledge that the people of the time felt it necessary and maybe I'm not in a position to judge that choice from my comfortable life (bought by the sacrifice of both those Japanese interred and those who fought on the front lines like my Grandfather).

On an agreeable note, Fuck FDR.

Some of those Japanese were citizens.

I will never excuse caging citizens to satisfy the whims of the masses.

It's Nazi shit. The constitution was no different than now so those fucks back then knew exactly what they were doing.
