I don't know why people don't like hearing this. Japanese people love American culture and white people, but they don't want us immigrating there. Civic nationalism and boomers are destroying this country.
Boomers have destroyed this country. As much as they love railing against millennials, it's not until recently that millennials have even been in a position where they could try to come into power. Look at Congress and many of the CEOs/big tech assholes/media moguls who have been in power for decades. Mostly, if not all, boomers.
Every crisis we've experienced and are experiencing has been started and encouraged by boomers.
This was a point that took me almost 5 years to get across to my father (a boomer). He's a good one. Smart, contributing member of society, good career/family, American values, conservative, loves Trump, freedom, apple pie, and all good things American. But he couldn't hear anything negative about his generation from me without putting up shields, as if I was attacking him. I'd always even preface it with "It wasn't people like you and I'm not blaming you specifically, but your generation inherited essentially a golden age and turned it into a steaming pile of shit to hand off to us." He's finally starting to get it and agrees with me now. It started with one of his own comments, when we were talking about the 60s and the hippies, and he himself made a negative comment about "look what they've become/what hypocrites," or something to that extent, and I was finally able to get through to him from there
I started feeling this way when my grandparents were constantly arguing that we can never go back to normal after COVID-19. Well, that’s easy for you to say. You got 70+ years of working to improve your circumstances and enjoying the fruits of your labor. I now see a lot of older individuals as incredibly selfish. Many senior citizens will yell at you if you’re outside and not wearing a mask, but fail to get that they have the option to stay home if they want to stay “safe”. They get designated hours to shop without any other age demographics now, were prioritized over children when it comes to health because health of those already past the average age of life expectancy is apparently way more valuable than raising our youngest generations up and making sure they’re healthy in all ways. I’m honestly saddened. Our older generations have become incredibly selfish and do not think about future generations.
What? We're talking about Asians, not the divisiveness of generations. Let's get back on topic. Basically, white people have a positive view of Asians.
Love Asians.. HATE the CCP
I love them, but I love them more in their own nations.

Boomer's deserve a lot of criticism because they raised the shittiest generation the US has ever seen.
They're also the wealthiest generation, and the first able to retire.

Boomers hate being told about their failures.
