Six kids. Two whites, one of whom is clearly retarded the other of whom is barely visible in the background. Indian girl with legs spread towards camera. Great picture.

How do you know every thought of every child in the world? And who appointed you spokesperson of all children in the world? You're such a liberal and don't even know it πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

It didn't dawn on my the three neighbors across the street from me were black until I was 7 or 8 and had already moved out of that neighborhood. It didn't matter. I found out much later my neighbor was middle eastern. I'd see all colors on TV and (God this is such a stupid thing to have to articulate) it didn't matter.

Bullshit, kids are born with a preference and greater trust for people who resemble themselves. It's just a survival instinct.

News flash for everyone mentally and politically stuck in 2010: the ones screaming about racism DON'T ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT ENDING RACISM. They're perfectly fine with it as long as THEY'RE the ones who get to be racist.

My kids never mentioned a word about race until this past month when they were coming home with brown faced construction paper people everyday for AA history month. The schools invent it for them.

We just had this talk. Our 6 year old doesn't see race at all.

If there a black dude and white dude, and you ask our son the difference he'll point out their hair or clothes. Not the skin.

I know history is important, but they only start to see race when they are taught about it. MLK and soforth

Morgan Freeman on how to end racism:

Stop talking about it

Teaching kids racism will create resentment between them.

Yup. If kids are taught at a very young age race matters, that is how they learn to think. This is why racially based programs should be banned as racist even if the intention is a β€œgood one”. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Or stop pointing out skin color as if it's an important trait to be aware of. Skin, hair, eye, features are just that. I swear the world is 1/3 stupid 1/3 evil.
