Rights are given by God, inherent to the very nature and essence of being.
IE, if I am alive, and God commands me to protect my life, I have a right to self-defense. Not because I want to, but because that is what God demands I do.
The same goes for speech, property, etc... No one has a right to say whatever they want to say, or do whatever they want with their own property. Those are gifts from God, and God demands we do certain things with them. We have a right to do those things, and government cannot infringe upon those rights or it becomes an enemy to God.
So, you do not have a right to recreational drug use, because God does not demand we do it. In fact, God is quite clear that our bodies are a temple and we should keep them pure and not defile them.
But you do have a right to be armed. God does demand that we wage war on the wicked, protecting our lives, freedoms, and property if need be.
