It’s generally with facts. Like last week when I was discussing vaccines and possible travel restrictions with my kids. I told them that any restrictions within the US without one is Communism. They just looked at me.
I waver. There are situations in which I am blunt. There are situations in which I am totally a wuss. I know my own weaknesses, so when I am put on the spot involving something that affects me directly, I panic. This is why I will likely never run for any office myself.
I mean yeah, maybe I shouldn't care what others think, but my greatest life's embarrassment is that I may have inadvertently driven two friends away from Christ in my younger and stupider years.
God may forgive, but I doubt I'll ever forgive myself for that.
